MMA's annual Los Angeles Media Trek takes place in early January and provides students with access to executives in areas such as film, television, new media, and video games. During the four-day visit, the group visits several companies, attends a CBS alumni networking event, and meets up with other students from UCLA, Sloan, and MIT at an inter-school mixer. Past company visits have included: Disney, NBCUniversal, Warner Brothers,
Lionsgate, Netflix, Paramount and Hulu.

MMA is one of the most critical career resources for CBS students interested in pursuing careers in the media industries. Support and resources include jobs board, interview questions databases, internship directory, mentorship programs, workshops and career bootcamps.
MEDIA CONFERENCE
CBS, in partnership with NYU Stern, hosts the annual Media and Entertainment Conference in New York City. The conference provides an educational and informative forum for discussions around the present & future state of media and entertainment. The conference attracts hundreds of MBAs and media professionals across the country for its networking opportunities, keynote speakers, and panels. Head to our Conference page for more details!

CBS is home to the premier MBA Media & Technology Program amongst top tier business schools. The goal of the program is to give media and technology focused students continuous access to an evolving curriculum, research and executives in the capital of the media industry. MMA participates annually in a number of Media & Technology Case Competitions across the country. CBS has won a number of competitions including UCLA's Paramount Case Competition and CBS Interactive Launch's Case Competition. MMA also hosts a Columbia University wide Media Hackathon.

Throughout the year, MMA hosts a number of social events on and off campus.
